FLOWER POWER

this is one sloppy blog post, i know. but guys, i just cannot even handle how much i love floral prints.

that blazer is absolute perfection. i recently bought a great floral and colorful blazer and now i want to wear it. like right this second. i love the fun oversized floral coats. they're so fun!
that last outfit is so spring chic. i am loving the floral top and those blue sperry like boat shoes are a fun pop of color. oh, and all of a sudden visors are fantastic..right?!

A NEW KIND OF CLUTCH

this is the greatest combination in a while. great novels turned cute clutches. like, can i have them all? these are so great. some of these books are my favorite and now all i can think about is how i am going to get my hands on one of these! my favorite book out of all of these is the great gatsby, but i am loooving the emma clutch.

man, kate spade never disappoints. talking about kate spade, i recently did latest graphic design project on kate spade. i made a poster/invitation for an event (a fake event) and i am actually really proud of it. maybe i'll post it one of these days.

FASHIONS NIGHT OUT

bringing you guys two funny videos because yesterday was fashions night out!
did you guys do anything fun? i spent my night in LA rooming the streets and checking out a couple of shops.

these videos crack me up. one of my favorite bloggers leandra medine from the man repeller happens to be in both of them and i am more than totally okay with that!

the first video is a short for shopbop. i love me some shopbop and i love this video. the second video is seriously the best. it's nyfw bootcamp time, people! "there's no crying in fashion week"

there are a handful of people i look up to professionally and style wise, but jac vanek has constantly inspired me in a different way. i forget how i came across her, but it must have been about four or five years ago. there is something so incredible about jac and i have a major girl crush on her! i love her brand because it makes me think of 'my so called life', 'freaks and geeks' (two of my favorite shows), and everything 90s grunge!

she started off with making a few bracelets for friends that said "ruthless" which were inspired by one of her favorite bands, something corporate. from there it took off. now, a couple of years later jac vanek is slowly taking over the world...okay, maybe just part of it? ha ha. i love what her brand stands for. i love how each shirt isn't just a shirt with some design on it. there is meaning behind every single design. i really could go on and on about jac vanek and her brand, but i won't. her story is super awesome and i suggest you go check it out!

she's a total babe nerd (yes, it is a thing) and when i met her i was totally star struck. i have met tons of celebrities and the huge kind, and i've never cared...but when i met jac vanek i'm pretty sure i had a mild panic attack (but i did a great job of hiding it) the whole time.

one of my favorite items has to be the 'need more coffee' tee! i really always am in need of more coffee, aren't you?! the four up there are pieces i need to own like, yesterday.

i want to start posting about some of my favorite trends and brands/shops on thursdays! i'm going to call this series shop lovin'. to start it off i decided to write about one of my favorite brands, ever! i love when i am out and about and can spot people wearing some great warby parkers. i myself own the sinclair glasses for reading. i am currently in love with, (all of them) the bensen glasses and am hoping to try them on and own them super soon because i'm in need of a new prescription and why not buy a new pair of warbys while i am at it!

i've known about this brand for a few a while now and could not be anymore excited for them. i originally came across their website when they were still new and not as well known as they are now...but it didn't take too long for warby parker to blow up!

the great thing about warby parker is that every pair is only $95 and they fill your prescription for you! even better than that is that for every pair you buy they give a pair away to someone in need! the way it works is that warby parker provides funding and/or glasses to non-profit partners like visionspring. there is nothing better than an awesome brand giving back.

oh and have i mentioned their home try-on program! you can pick up to five different frames to try on at home for five days. gives you time to ask friends which pair or pairs fit you the best! it's so great and convenient that it's almost like you have to go pick five out right after you finish reading this and then buy some! right?!

SWEATER SEASON

so, even though this heat wave is so so terrible and sometimes it feels like it will never go away...fall is getting closer and closer! i am so excited because fall and winter are my absolute favorite seasons! sweaters, beanies, and lots and lots of pretty coats. it does not getting any better than that! 

with that being said, i decided to pick three wonderful sweaters and three super fun sweatshirts that would be so wonderful for when it starts getting a little chilly. 

i need all six of these bad boys in my closet like yesterday. i really think that i could wear these forever and ever. they're fun, sassy, and a little colorful so you don't have to stick with basic dark colors during the colder seasons.

TICKLE ME PINK

so, my love for pink is kind of outrageous. for those of you who know me personally you know this is crazy because a couple of months ago i did not like pink. i hated it! there, i said it. over the past year my taste in everything has evolved, a lot. one of those evolved things would be my love for neon pink and all the other shades of pink. if i could i would wear at least three pink items a day! okay i might be over exaggerating a tad about my adoration for this color, but let me tell you that whenever i spot something cute and pink i instantly want it. these items are a few of the neon pink items i am dying to call my own. neons are perfect for spring & summer!
